Thanks, will check the flue and give the whole unit a clean with the vacum. Then find a electric person if that dose not sort it.

The heater electric and is behind the gas fire which you can run the fan off also.

My fan heater is staying on and hot even when it's switched of on switch on wall. It works fine when switched on. We did have a slight burning smell at one point when we turned it of 1st night of using it. Not sure if this was owt to do with it. It did work fine last time we used it a few weeks...
