    Which van for 4 adults?

Hi Steve Can't really advise which van to get but what we did when we bought our first van was to go to every dealer local to us and just basically browse through all the vans they had new and used. Needless to say this does not cost you and will start to get you excited about buying your new...

Hi Simpsons We had an alko AKS1300 on our last caravan and boy I was glad we had it as we were caught unexpected bya very strong gust of wind. We were in a jeep cherokee with a lunar chateau at the time. Basically the whole outfit was blown sideways onto the hard shoulder and the caravan did...

    Purchase of new caravans

Hi John I don't know if it is cheaper to buy at a caravan exhibition but I would reccommend buying from your local dealer as it would be a lot more convenient to you should you experience any problems with the new van and also for the servicing of the van. People have written to PC when they...

    Kia Sedona

Hi Roger We have a Kia sedona 2.9crdi. Excellent tow car and is very stable when towing. Good economy at 38mpg solo and 28 mpg towing. Excellent load space if you remove the rear seats. It is a nice relaxing drive when towing. If you have towed with a car that struggles a little you will know...

    Jeep Cherokee

Hi Neil If you do experience any problems hitching up you can either hitch up with the rear door open or if possible hitch up at an angle ( not always possible). I believe alko has designed a new handle on the coupling for the 4x4's with the wheel on the rear door.

    Caravan Mirrors

A friend of mine has a couple of those mirrors they clamp on to the top of the mirror housing only. They are very rigid when attached and you can still adjust your driving mirror wether it manual or electric. I have not got round to getting any yet as I am working abroad at the moment but when I...

    NEW TOW CAR

Hi Pete we bought a sedona earlier this year with only 7000 miles on the clock. We found with ours that the engine would only rev up to 2700rpm the first time we towed with it but honestly that is not a problem as it has loads of grunt. we have over 10,000 miles on now and it revs quite freely...

    Kia Sedona

Hi Darren We have the Kia sedona 2.9crdi and we find it fantastic for towing. It puts out 145bhp and 310Nm of torque so plenty of muscle. We tow an abbey aventura 330 with no trouble, you hardly know the van is there. We get about 38 mpg solo and about 28 towing. I did write an article in...
