I had a 1.9tdi SE saloon in '99 and changed to an estate 130 tdi SE in 2002. Both have been brilliant towing and solo, although the estate has the edge towing. I've never had any traction problems and my van's mtplm is 1472kg. You could, of course, go for a 4motion SE as a compromise.

I bought the all singing, all dancing Cadac Carrichef last april. Expensive but brilliant. I was a bit of a traditionalist so a bit sceptical at first. Thought it might be like one of those George Forman things but it isn't. It does everything. Didn,t use anything else all year

Just came back yesterday. We've been going to the site for years. Even stayed there before it was a CC site, about 25 years ago. The site facilities have been extended and refurbished within the last couple of years. The beach across the sand dunes opposite is about 2 miles long and quite flat...
