Thanks. Still want to find a way to regulate the pressure on the mains hose if possible. I don't have any ports on caravan body, it will be piped in so I think I just need some sort of device to go on a mains tap which regulates and is ideally adjustable.

I'd still be grateful if anyone can explain how to rig up a pressure regulator off mains, and where to get a suitable one, if anyone knows. Thanks

Update: Perhaps almost solved. I spoke to Propex and they said to try removing the pressure relief valve. I did that, hey presto, water through hot water pipes, at all taps. Hooray! He said the pump isn't strong enough (it's pretty strong for a caravan!) to push the spring and let water into...

Just had a thought.... drinking water. We have visitors coming to stay in the old girl for a few days! I bought a few 5L bottled waters from Tesco as it suddenly occurred to me that the onboard tank on this caravan has been sat doing nothing for night on a decade! I assume it's not wise to drink...
