Just when it is hooked up to the mains but if I switch the awning light on it stops yes it is the meter on the control panel

Any ideas why my amp meter in my bailey Pegasus Verona caravan keeps flicking from high to low it only stops when I turn the awning light on

Does anyone know why my amp meter is going from high to low very fast when connected to the electricity on the caravan sites. The only way I can stop it is turning on the awning light ?
