Sounds suspiciously like "belt squeal" to me, possibly auxillary drive belt/pulley noise. Method of checking is to squirt alittle WD40 onto belt/pulley system when noise is apparent, this should quieten it temporarily. Failing this my next point of enquiry would be one of the drive hubs. If it...
