    Campsite search engines...

We quite often try a different approach...find an area/town we fancy on google maps and then do the 'nearby' search for caravan sites, then go off and google each site (we like to know proximity to trunk roads for access/noise etc) We've just booked east coast for jubilee weekend. You may have...

    Goatfell Farm CL

Forget the staffs version of an oatcake - they're too thin and greasy - go for the Derbyshire ones - alot more to them and they grill ever so well on a cadac! Plenty to see and do in the area, as it's on our doorstep.

    Sargent ec620

We had one go like this in our swift, even though under warranty still, Sargent were very helpful and sent out a replacement for us to fit. Had to return the old unit. ( it IS a fiddly job to do, but doable if you take your time with the clips). Ours looked like this, it started off with some...

    Caravan TV bracket

It looks like an old Vision plus quick release one, whereby the old owner has kept the svivelling part on their tv. I'd be tempted to replace it with a new one.

    Mitsubishi Colt as first car?

Clive, our daughter passed her test last summer, she tried sitting in a variety of cars and settled on a 3dr 208, it's a 13 plate with free rfl and with a tesco black box the isurance with us 2 as additional drivers came out circa £900 ish. This insurance doesn't have a time curfew and IF she...

    Toyota Aygo as a runaround??

Go for a citroen c1 with a 1.2 engine. Anything registered upto 31/3/17 will be free RFL - as ours was reg'd on that date. The 1.2 engine is surprisingly nippy - we have it behind our moho.

    This is getting serious

Sorry your girl is under the weather. I have had our cocker on Skinners for a while now, she's young and spritely and seems to be enjoying it as fussy with what's in her bowl but not if she finds something out and about! They do a wet food now which seems gentle on the old tum - Skinners - Not...

New member - Motorhome to Caravan Conversion

Hi, welcome, caravanfinder - this website has loads of information on models in the 2 berth bracket. Have a look and compare specs to suit your needs. I too would go for a conventional 2 berth over the likes of a basecamp, plus you'll have a better market if you decide to sell on.

What's the wheel size on a swift challenger 560. 2020 model. Looking to buy a Alko wheel lock not sure what size to buy

Hi Jonah, if I were you, I would also look at Nemesis wheel locks - nemesis as these are much easier to fit and are transferrable between vehicles, if you swap your van in a few years, you may need to buy new inserts for the Alko as unlikely to fit. Insurance approved too.

    Towing and storage covers.

We use a specialised tow pro elite - managed to get it better than half price of a new one off the auction website. Don't know if I'd fancy paying £400 for it. Just give the front a wipe over and fits in a jiffy. Handy as you can still get into the locker as we always have something last...

    PADDLE BOARDING

Have a look at Decathlon's website, plenty on there. You'll need a wetsuit and aqua shoes (aldi have them in next week), life jacket. I would say a 10/12 foot board a good size. Some good inflatable ones about. Had a go on one last week at Llanberis - great fun, but only got as far as kneeling...
