I cannot find e reference I once read about parking overnight in the eurotunnel terminal as eurotunnel say there is nowhere to park up. Failing that does anybody know of a nearby site where one can leave at unearthly hours (0430). Also, similar for the Folkestone end.

After getting a near £500 quote from Brittany I have now got one from Eurotunnel for £144. This is through Carefree and before 0600. I was concerned about gas regs but apparently it is no problem with Calor. Hope this helps others on atight budget.

Caravan Europe 2002 says@Overnight parking is permitted at ferry terminal car park and adjacent to ELF service station near Eurotunnel terminal sp Waiting Area. It also says that the garage is open 24hrs but don't know if that means card only. Anybody know?

We are hoping to spend some time near Soulac and have chosen a site near l'Amelie - Camping de l'Ocean. Any recommendations etc before we book it. Are the lifeguards in this area over zealous. Near Messange everyone had about 50m to stand in or else the dreaded whistle!!!

At Basle we had to buy 2 and stick one in the van window. About 4 weeks later I tried to remove it and despite using loads of fairy liquid most of the glue remains. Worse still, the acrylic has crazed. So be warned!!!

Any body been to this site near Vitrac in the Dordogne? It is river side and looks convenient for hiring canoes etc. It is not cheap though so would appreciate any recommendations. Thanks.
