Hi. I would use a white compound like farecla G3! I think if you use Tcut you could stain the front panel! Give it a wax afterwards! Hope this helps!

SORRY, The physics of it is, on a painted panel under the microscope the surface has millions of pores like skin! so when you have wipped the paintwork you have melted the tar with your white spirits and the tar goes yellow/brown then sits in these little cavities!

Hi Gary. I have been in the vehicle repair buisiness for 20 years now as a paint sprayer! What ya problem is that you have melted all the tar with the white spirit! I suggest that you go to a vehicle paint supplier and get 5litres of paint degreaser/spirit wipe, which will not harm the paint at...
