    I'm with Mr Grumpy on this one you can never be too organised and ready to fix those things that break. Where we go there is no Screwfix or others. Bring it with you or you will be driving for hours to pick up that widget rubber washer or screw. as they say a stich in time.:cool:

    Message the buyer explain you want cash on collection, and not to pay through eBay. eBay will still require your bank details otherwise how will they collect their fees.

    Very nice fab bike but wouldn't want to spend the time maintaining one today, My next project is languishing in the garden at present my old 2002 p38 range rover. Used it as a tow car for years cant let it go and no one in there right mind would want one.:D

    If only we had these bikes now back in the day everyone wanted Kawasaki's .Old bikes where frequently left to rot in peoples gardens, I used to knock on doors and ask people what they where doing with them. often resulting free bike if you could fix them :)

    I assume your bank details are with eBay UK if so buyer can pay you through them, Buyer would then need to provide you with collection code issued through eBay, which proves buyer collected and inspected item on the day . There is no point where you would need to give them your bank details...

    We live in rural Lancashire where most folk are friendly. as a kid I owned a triumph tiger cub I used it on the fields nr home wound up in the river on many occasion. Later I got hold of an early Vincent black shadow . Too much bike for a young kid the constant tinkering eventually broke it...
