Mains water through Truma ultraflow / on board pump

I'm looking at getting hooked up to mains water this summer. My options appear to be the ballcock in aquaroll. Seem lots of cheap homemade kits on ebay - anyone got any experience of whether these are any good or should I just get the genuine aqua roll one. I've also looked at a truma one...

    Camping le Bien Assies!

I would echo everything Rob-T has said really. We normally have 2 nights there at the end of our hols to wind down and go to the offy for some Britneys. I have never really understood why Brits choose to have their hols there but some clearly do stay for the whole time. That's not to be...

Anyone recommend a site in or near north / east London for this weekend? Cc sites are all showing full - though no doubt there will be empty pitches there. Thanks Mat

    DORDOGNE

Hi Wayne We've just come back from Sarlat. took our bikes and didn't use them once. Won't take them next year - might take a canoe instead? We stayed outside Sarlat and thought we might be able to bike in to town. It's too hilly just like Carwyn says. Would also agree with Carwyn about the...

Converting Honda CRV electrics to 13 pin - help!

Just thought I would update this to put it to bed and hopefully assist others in future if they come up against this. It is now sorted. I have had a 13 pin socket with an integral fog cut out switch fitted by a towbar specialist -

Converting Honda CRV electrics to 13 pin - help!

Further digging / googling says that Sargent's stock a 13 pin socket which has a housing for this switch - its not in there on line catalogue though. I was wandering whether the new 13 pin system had any in built cleverness that didn't require this switch?

Converting Honda CRV electrics to 13 pin - help!

just checked http://www.towsure.com/category/7199-Towing_Sockets seemingly you can buy a 7 pin one with or without a cutaway for fog lamp switch but not a 13 pin one. I'll ring them tomorrow. Thanks Mat

Converting Honda CRV electrics to 13 pin - help!

Thanks Derek That sounds very likely - it connects to the blue wire which I have just checked and it is the fog light. and it looks like it was operated when the plug was engaged. So the 13 pin socket I have is not designed to house this little switch like the old one was. Presumably Honda's...

Converting Honda CRV electrics to 13 pin - help!

Must learn that you don't need to press shift when you type numbers - it's a 57 plate not a %&plate. Anyway thanks Eddie - I'm not sure it is a sounder - it was actually inside the exterior socket under the car - I never heard it buzzing from in the car. Having had a further play the socket...

Converting Honda CRV electrics to 13 pin - help!

After reading the PC article and various others about converting from twin to 13 pin electric, I have tried this afternoon to convert our Honda CRV %& plate - new shape etc. The bolts holding the sockets on were very corroded so have ended up butchering them a bit drilling the bolts out...

    Windows not sealing

Darren What van do you have.I had a 2008 Bailey Ranger and the corners of most of the windows didn't contact the rubber seal. It was most problematic on the massive front window which leaked. The gap between the window and the moulded panel was slightly wider on one side - run your finger...

Hi Lisa If you mean Camping Les Ecureuils in Jard Sur Mer in the Vendee, we have been there for the last 2 years and will possibly go there again this year. We really like it. Its a nice size and nice friendly atmosphere and lots of people seem to return year on year. The facilities are good...

    Wing Hall - Oakham

Hi We stayed at Wing Hall last summer. Its fair to say it is more geared up for campers than caravanners. Its in the grounds of a pretty tired old semi stately house and ran by an equally tired older woman who seemed to have a bit of character / attitude about her that was quite fun. The...

    Bradcot Portico XL

Thanks folks. As I suspected, re the back legs. I'll give it a go at half term. Its getting its first run out then. I've had it all out and it looks in fantastic nick just worried might be missing some bits. Thanks for the offer to sell Martin but I think I did quite well with this one. I paid
