Damp found in my Pageant Bordeaux!

Thanks everyone for all the advice given. I found out how to remove the shroud from the rooflight....just a matter of carefully prising it off the holding clips! I decided to comply with the service dept. advice and monitor the damp area for a few weeks. It has been up till now rather dry...

Damp found in my Pageant Bordeaux!

I have just collected my Bailey Pageant Bordeaux after it's second year service. The report shows that there is a 26% damp reading in the bed end rooflight. We have been told to 'keep an eye on it'. The rooflight is a REMIS version, not the HEKI which is currently the one that Bailey fits. My...

    Balancing Single axle caravan wheels

I have always kept my car wheels correctly balanced. My caravan is single axle with aluminium wheels. Has any member had their caravan wheels balanced... and found it an advantage particularly at the top end of the maximum speed for towing.

After towing for many years with mainly estate cars...our present car being a Mondeo Estate 2003. I have never towed with a 4/4 but am now considering buying a 2006 or later RAV4 with 2.2 D4D engine 140bhp 6/speed manual transmission. I am finding it difficult getting in and out of our Mondeo as...

Motor Mover for Bailey Pageant Burgundy

Have you ever had to jack up your wheel? If not...I would advise you to make sure that it will do so without problems before you set off again! Caravan movers

Other Clive....Have you ever had to change your wheel? We have a Series 6 Pageant and the dealer changed our Reich mover from our old caravan onto the new one and in doing so fitted it to the front instead of behind the wheel. Now we find that when jacking the wheel the suspension drops and...

    Fixed Bed Caravans

We have just taken delivery of our new caravan...a Bailey Pageant Bordeax. We chose this because of the fixed bed and the fact that the 1300kg all-up weight was ideal for our car to tow. Our previous caravan was an Abbey Freestyle 400. This had an end kitchen with very little worktop area for...
