    Bailey Unicorn Barcelona from Campbells

Daisy I hope you don't mind if I reply. We picked up our Valencia three weeks ago and have had 2 weekend breaks in it. We previously had a Series 6 Wyoming. I was sceptical about the radiator heating as I had read that it is slower to heat up than warm air and the controls not easy to work...

    Tesco Deals

David we booked the Eurotunnel for car and caravan using Tesco points and then had to change the date twice after my wife broke a bone in her foot the day before we were due to go. I think the final date was 4 months after the first booking and there was no charge, just had to pay the extra...

    Ferry to Portugal

I've pasted below my answer to a similar question from another forum. You can convert your Tesco points to Airmiles. Right, I've just phoned Airmiles and they were happy to explain how pricing works for Airmiles to Santander and for me to post this. Estimate for Portsmouth to Santander...

    cl sites

Hi after getting caught out at pretty CLs with no dog walks nearby, we now always check on Multimap and select the OS map view which shows footpaths.

    ACSI and C&CC

Hi we use ACSI and look at their website, rather than the book. Plenty of info and you can search by regions with plenty of filters to choose (we have a twin axle and always look for whether they accept longer caravans and motor vehicles). Some sites have links to their own webpages, others...

    French strikers

We were also stuck in the queue around Caen. The farmers even had a police escort. The French woman next to us was going mad shouting to us "I hate the French and France". Must be because the French have 2 basic rights - 1 to protest and 2 to have a lunch - the queueing meant that she couldn't...

    ASCI card

Alex we've used ours for the past 2 years. Excellent choice of campsites and a good website which has a useful search by map facility. We bought ours direct via the website: http://www.campingcard.co.uk/gb/en/home/uc33-l2-n253/

    burrs country park cc site

Glad you liked it. Burrs is almost always full if you try to book online, but we have phoned the site like you the last 3 times (our grandkids are nearby!) and they usually can get you in. Agree with your comments - steam trains run past the site, best market in the country!

Sorry, nearest town is not Landes, should be LLanes. :-)

    N Spain picos

Val http://www.campingcard.co.uk/gb/en/europe/spain/asturias/campsite-la-paz-100914/# We were going to stay at Potes, which is a nice town up in The Picos but didn't fancy the narrow, winding road so went for this option. We stayed at this site Camping La Paz which is on the coast a couple of...

    XE, XS or XT

We're on our second. First was a 2003 manual XS. Latest is 2007 (facelift 168 bhp) XE and we are pleased with it. Yes, cruise control is nice, but as its not on the XE, we don't miss it - in fact, my wife hated it. Don't miss the leather especially on cold mornings. Why not test-drive an XE then...

CL / CS type sites in France

You could try this: http://www.campinglaforet.com/gb.html For some reason, the link doesn't always work, but if you try again it finds it.

    cc bookings

There will always be a good reason for some no shows, but for other bookings eg flights etc there is a penalty. This won't stop late cancellation or no shows but it would act as to deter people from block booking and then cancelling nearer the time. The Club could use the new computer system to...
