    Gritters

    We haven't seen one and our roads through the estate are packed with snow. Our street hasn't seen a gritter all winter. Luckily we both have 4x4 vehicles so getting out and about hasn't been a problem. I bet some people with they had 4x4 gas guzzlers now haha!

    Try devil's claw - i get mine from holland and barratt for susie our 13yr old greyhound. she has one capsule per 10kg of bodyweight so that for her is 3 capsules a day. we've noticed a marked difference in her sprightlyness since beginning with these :)

    Dog friendly sites

    The York Touring Caravan Site at Towthorpe is fabulous for dogs. Has it's own secure dog exrecise field and you can walk on the moor if the army aren't on exercise. Only an hour from the coast too..

    Withernsea on the East Coast allows dogs on a restricted part of the beach all yeasr round. Filey I believe also has a doggy beach section.

    Adults only parks that also allow dogs

    Hi Does anyone know of any nice quiet adult only parks no more than 2-3hrs drive from West Yorkshire that also allow dogs? Am I also asking too much that it be an all year opening park too please? Any info/recommendations?

    Where does your dog sleep?

    We have five dogs and we tend to lock the awning and leave the caravan door open so they can choose where they want to sleep. susie our greyhound likes to sleep on the bed as does harvey our labrador for a while. then they just wander round and find a dog bed in the awning.
