    Andy, following on from the drawing, we identified our poles using standard electrical tape - starting either from the left or right as you look at the van ( it doesn't really matter ) and mark the roof pole and vertical leg with one ' band ' of tape, the next pole gets 2 bands, the next 3 and...

    forgot to add that he also recommended checking your local caravan workshops for scrapped vans which are sometimes stripped for spares, or specialist caravan breakers, Owain.

    we found one on ebay, and paid a local fitter from a caravan dealer to fit it, ours was a fanmaster which bolted straight on to the pre drilled holes in our Bessacarr Capri 500/5 in a '93 van, now we are toasty warm ! He also fitted an awning outlet for us !!

    we just buy offcuts - get the local carpet shop to reccomend a fitter and job done ! cheap enough to do every year, if you want a removable one, ask if they ( or someone else has ) a 'Binding ' machine to do the edges.

    Hello David, Havng bought a Truma arm air system off Ebay and had it fitted toour Bessaarr Cai 500, WE HAVE A LONG UNDERVAN RUN WHICH COOLS THE AIR DOWn, go to your DIY store and buy a watr tank jacket, earte it down into pieces and cable tie it round the pipe ! not expensive and very efficient !!
