Hi, the 249 is one which is used by many, however when my guy said he used Gardinia , spelling could be incorrect, for ours it could be the change due to age, ours being 2000. Thanks anyway.
For what ever reasons our fire did not come on . It has been working ok but as weather has been good have not used it on gas since last May. So removed mico window and blew air to dislodge any thing which could be there. Still would not ignite, have good spark, gas in all other appliances and so...
I had similar problems taking front off our one until I remembered that sometime the front comes loose and that they put couple of self tapper screws into the top of fire. So when you look under the top of fire you will see them there if this is so.
Was back ended by a car who did not put their handbrakes on when parked. Their bumper struck lower half of back causing several cracks , some 60cm long others about 10cm. At first I thought there were only one crack which looked deep but when taking it to the workshop for estimate he showed me...
You are not on your own if you read my threads, even now we have small problems like the leads for the micro switch on kitchen tap keep coming loose, even after replacing the connectors. Gas fire works perfect at home before setting off and not coming on at times .Does not put us off , manage to...
Got our van back from repair shop where it had been repaired to lower back half. Asked the chap what paint he used for our 2000 Stirling Topaz. He said it is gardenia ( maybe misspelt). So emailed a firm which does caravan paints and they say only do paints from 2007 as you could not get the...
I think we are now on our 4th one which is the dearest and worse one by G Tech hand held bought 18 months ago. Best one which was a Electrolux which had a floor type and handheld all in one, this must be around 1990. Eventually it wore out but I did convert it too a 12v hand held and it was...
Yes I have used my Karcher using light spray setting. The cleaner goes on ok but on the top it settles in places so you have to make sure it does not dry before rinsing. On the sides it makes a quick job apart from black streaks that have to be rubbed off before rinsing.
Took my outfit to repair shop for rear damage, the work shop was at rear of premises and no way was I going to reverse up his drive and negotiate round to the workshop .So me being chicken he took it from the road reversed right into the workshop as if he was driving forward .Probably it does...
Our kitchen sink bowel in our Stirling Topaz has split, does any one know where we can buy one. It is a odd shape where one side is square making it a "D" shape.
Thanks.
Thought I would give you all a laugh, the tap came and found the tap sent did not fit the hole in sink .Ours has a 49mm dia whereas one sent was 39mm. Oh well next one fitted and now planning next trip.
