Further update. Went away for a few nights Mon 19 July. No problems at all, gas working perfectly, also the replacement toilet flush pump, also no leaks from the two new push-fit feeds to the washroom sink. One very happy bunny.

Thanks Audiorob, interesting but not quite the same modelas the ones in my 'van. but with a bit of care (always assuming I can get the right material) I recon I can replace the pleated part.

That sounds like a plan Audiorob. A couple of pics and some dimensions to a few suppliers may help. Then if successful, a re-cording guide from Dometic (similar to the useful one I have for the roller retensioning of the front window blinds) would be helpful lol.

I've scoured the 'net briefly but can't seem to find a source of supply, also a few forum comments seem to suggest that the makers aren't interested in the supply of such items. The blind in question on our caravan (Eccles Topaz 2005) is working OK, ie up and down and pleats folding away. But...

Hi Ern - there is only a very small part of the pigtail entering the regulator from above. The majority of the hose then sweeps down nicely to the bottle. I'll post a better pic later today. As the pigtail (which was given to us by the dealer when we bought the 'van) is somewhat longer than...

Result! Olives arrived this morning. All fitted, no leaks. To say I'm pleased is an understatement. Many thanks everyone for all the input and I hope this helps someone else. Pete PS I only needed the one olive but I ordered a few to give me some spare.

Thanks Ern, but the short piece of pipe attached to the tee piece was disposed of and the olive as a result could not be re-used! The new regulator had its own new olive and the new piece of copper pipe fitted successfully. I do have a new spare Truma shouldered olive but it is way too long to...
