    New VW Passat

Hi there I have had a couple of test drives in the estate. The handbrake takes some getting used to but I would imagine it would be useful when towing. There is also an auto function available which applies the handbrake when you stop. Both forms are released when you feed up and release the...

    Honda Accord

Hi there I can't comment on the petrol, but we have the diesel saloon. It is excellent. It tows our Ace Jubilee Globetrotter with no problems at all. Fuel consumption has been good, the only thing is to regularly check the oil. It does like a drink when new!! Peter

    Oggie Scenic Plus Awning

Hi to all I have been browsing the forum topics on the lightweight porch awnings. We just want a simple easy to put up porch for weekends that will take the chairs, table and the dog beds (1xLab and 1xPatterdale). Not really worth putting up the full awning for 1 or possibly 2 nights (depends...

Sat Nav problems - your views

We have an inbuilt system in our car. Around the home area we do not use it for navigation, our daughter loves to watch the maps scrolling though as we travel. Away from home it has been invaluable in locating streets etc, even though at times we have been driving through fields as it doesn't...

Hi to all I am thinking about having a mover fitted to our 2004 Ace Jubilee Globetrotter. Has anyone had any problems with fitting a wheel clamp when the mover is installed? I have a Bulldog Titan wheel clamp. Any help/advice appreciated. Thanks. Peter

    NR Awnings

Hi We've a Nr Executive with steel poles. No problems with putting up or taking down. They are excellent value for money. Personally like steel poles better than alloy. I think either way you will be pleased. Peter

    Honda CRV Diesel

Thanks, as I said in the comment to Richard, I have driven one solo and was impressed, but I was concerned that the gearing may be aimed at solo work not towing, where it might struggle. You seem to have had no problems Keith. Many thanks for the input, much appreciated. Peter

    Honda CRV Diesel

Thanks for the info. I have driven one and it seemed a good drive, smooth, and powerful. I was impressed, but I am concerned that with a caravan attached it could lose it's edge and possibly struggle if the gearing is not really designed for towing, but for commuting. Once again thatnks for...
