maybe i should think about putting up my charges for doing landlord gas safety certificates and such during spring time. Obviously i dont do anything more during winter spring or summer but as the sites need them and they need me.....supply and demand you said.

So if everyone seems to agree that the charging is proportional to the number of pitches and the number of people etc etc. then why do we need to be charged extra just because its a bank holiday or a school holiday?. I am aiming this, not in a bad way you understand, at the caravan club sites...

Please could you elaborate on your "charge for dogs everytime" comment.

This is of course provided they have the facilities such as a play area etc.

So can anyone explain why sites have to charge per person and not just by the pitch?

Is caravanning becomming expensive or is it just me. I have a wife, 3 childern and a dog. I work during the week and my childern go to school so its weekends when we can. On average its £30 a night. Even Caravan club sites cost us this. I cant imagine why it costs us £3 per night for our dog...
