Many thanks for your reply. Sounds a much better option than the port. We will certainly give it a try. Thanks again.

    Staying on port overnight Portsmouth

Hi. Has anyone stayed overnight in the lanes at Portsmouth. Brittany Ferries website says this is possible after midnight if you are leaving on an early morning ferry. Also wondered if they are strict about midnight or if you can park there earlier.

    Santander

Finally it will be Mojacar. We have been to sites around Logrono in the past but thought there would be something nearer. Need to perhaps think again about using that time of ferry.

    Santander

We are thinking of booking the ferry in January which leaves Portsmouth at 17.00 and arrives in Santander at around 17.15. As we have 300 miles to drive to reach Portsmouth this would mean that we could do it in the day without an overnight stop around Portsmouth. Does anyone know of a...

    Mojacar

Many thanks for advice. Have found campsites mentioned in ACSI book, so they are looking good. Cuevas Mar sounds interesting, will try this one for sure. Glad to hear the sun is shining!

    Mojacar

Hi All Going to Spain at the end of January, hoping to stay around Mojacar. Can anyone recommend a good campsite? Does anyone have knowledge of any which we should avoid? We have an ACSI card if there is anywhere that takes it.

    Poole overnight parking

Travelling Poole to Cherbourg at the beginning of April. According to Brittany website it is possible to overnight at the Port for £5.00. Has anyone done this? Is it satisfactory? We will have a dog with us so will need to do the obligatory walks.

    Cable TV on sites

Over the past several years we have used campsites in Spain which had the facility of English TV on hook-ups on the electric bollards similar to used on the caravan club sites in the UK. We are thinking of going to France next year, though no particular region in mind. Has anyone come across...

    Milton of Fonab Campsite

We stayed at this campsite in September this year. It has a lot of mobile homes as well as tourers. It is ideally placed for walking into Pitlochry. The site itself is clean and seems well maintained, with friendly staff etc. The only downside we found was that the pitch was only just long...
