Thank you to everyone who responded and thank you for your various suggestions. I have contacted Powrtouch and I am awaiting their reply although it would seem that one of the control unit repair options that have been mentioned will be my eventual course of action. Thanks again.

Our motor mover stopped working on the l/h side. I switched the l/h cables in the control unit to the r/h hand terminals and the r/h cables to the l/h terminals resulting in the l/h side working bow, and the r/h side not working. That would seem to me to indicate a faulty control unit. Are these...
