Still have not got 12v fridge feed working!

While having fridge running while travellling would be nice I've never found essential. Our drives are normally only 2-3hrs except for ferry crossings. For long periods don't carry frozen goods, stockup closer to destination and transfer contents of fridge to good quality soft chilly bag with...

Coachman vip 520 solar panel fuse

Not clear which fuse you are blowing. With solar controllers make sure solar panel is disconnected before disconnecting battery. Connect battery then panel. If fuse between controller and battery is blowing issue could be with load if one is wired to controller's load output.

“Combined” Weighbridge weight correct or wrong?

I suspect mine new caravan will be over MTPLM with ebikes on board but without access to scales no way to prove it. Started weighing stuff as I loaded it and it added up quickly. Bedding + kitchen stuff which I culled was 35kg.

Anybody switched from a Caravan to a Motorhome?

Cheaper than buying and finding a MH isn't for you. Also layouts vary considerably, renting even for few days should show what does and doesn't work for you. Workmate hired one and liked experience but hated different floor levels, were stepping up and down accessing bed and bathroom.

    Are pitch prices going crazy

In NZ campgrounds with powered sites are $40-60 are nite for couple, with $50-60 typical. Showers are a mixed bag of free or paid. NB exchange is $2 = £1. At the cheaper end of things is NZ motorhome and caravan Association sites. These vary from basically a paddock to sites with toilets...

    ALKO JACKING POINT BRACKET.

I've used car scissor jack under axle but that was 1000kg caravan. Bottle jack would be easier as pumping it in confined space is easier that turning scissor jack. Best do trial run at home and make sure you have right tool tire brace to undo wheel nuts. Rubber car mats + caravan porch mat help...

Renting a MH for couple weeks would be one way to try before you buy.

    Swift Elegance & others……Onboard water tank…

The best approch to these small 40L tanks in UK vans is to just fill them on site and travel with them empty. UK vans don't tend to have payload to handle extra weight. also check what manual says about travelling with water in tank The large Australian and USA caravans have 100-200L tanks...

    No power Bailey thetford c250

Don't assume issues are with +12V wire. When my bailey ranger tail lights were playing up I discovered it was bad negative(white wire). Fault was poor/dirty connection in large connector hanging underfloor(outside) van in rear.

    Swift Elegance & others……Onboard water tank…

10L shouldn't cause issue and enough water for lunch stop or overnite without showers. When I was researching tanks <50L didn't have baffles as option. 30L moving back and fore in 400mm x400mm tank isn't going to upset a caravan stability. Biggest concern is load on tank's mounting points.

    Swift Elegance & others……Onboard water tank…

I'm looking to install onboard 40-60l tank and fill it via Aquaroll pump. My reasoning is currently operate from a 20l water container as its lot easier to transport. Use same type containers for grey water for same reason. Topup via Aquaroll submerge pump means not having to add a hose inlet...

Still have not got 12v fridge feed working!

We use gas more often than not as unpowered sites are cheaper.

    Electical problem, hobby 410 2008

If replacing make sure it is sealed AGM not flood battery if battery box is in cabin eg under a seat. AGM have very low out gassing compared to flood. UK vans have external battery box so outgassing isn't issue.
