I have a portable TV/DVD and would like to improve the sound.

does anyone know of any 12 volt stereo speakers with the contols

on the front

I installed a cheap micro system from Tesco in my caravan and run my LCD TV sound through this and it is good.

The sound on most small LCD TVs is grim even if you buy a more expensive one.

If you want to run it on a non-hook-up site, use a 150watt inverter to run both the TV and Stereo system.
