12s wiring

i have just picked up my new caravan and i need to alter the 12s plug, i have preiously done this by bridging a wire between 2 pins however i can not remember which pins to connect,i do it this way because i tow with various cars, can any one please help?

Paul, could it have been 3 & 7, linking the earth "returns" for lights, charger & fridge?
