has anyone got any ideas about my fridge it has stopped working on 12v battery and towing ,its ok on gas and mains electric

Start checking the 12v line from the socket on the back of the car. You'll need a multimeter or a test lamp.
 
Sharon, What age is the van? If 1998 or older check that you have 12v+ on pin 6 with pin 3 (-) on the car 12S, with the engine running. If post 98 check for (+) on pin 6 and (-) on pin 7.

Has the fridge got a 12v indicator lamp on it?
