I have a damp patch on the vans carpet which seems to be coming from under the carver cascade water heater, can anyone help please
 
It will be either a cracked inlet or outlet to the heater or more serious the tie bar has broken or the tank has been damaged by something on top of it, or is corroded.

Whichever it is , it is advisable to get a caravan engineer to sort it out as the heaters are old and becoming very fragile, and spares are hard to find now.
