1st Bank Holiday in May

We've just booked 6 nights at Sandy Balls, Fordingbridge (New Forest) from Mon 5th May. We thought we'd be ok for the first Bank Hol in May but they were fully booked over the weekend!

Luckily we both have the week off so can travel down on the Bank Holiday Monday.

So, a word of advice to fellow caravanners and campers...

Think it's probably particularly busy as Easter is so early and some won't risk going away then. Can't come soon enough for us though! We're off to Dunstan Hill near Alnwick from Good Friday until the following Thursday (providing the gales have stopped by then!)

Yes, you're probably right as Easter is very early this year. Hope the weather improves - enjoy Alnwick. We've a week booked at Bamburgh at the end of July.
