2003/4 Hyundai Santa FE Diesel.........Audible Bleeper.

I have just purchased a 2003/4 Hyundai Santa Fe Turbo Diesel and was wondering if any members know if this model is factory fitted with an Audible Indicator Bleeper so you can hear the turn signals when connected to the 7 pin socket.
I have purchased an Audible Bleeper only to be informed later on by a family member that he thinks they come factory fitted.
Can anyone confirm for me if possible.

Hi your family member is incorrect, the electrical system on the early Santa Fe's is very basic, you will need an audible bleeper but then you usually get them in the towing electric kits anyway, I have an 05 plate Santa fe and most of the electrics on my car are the same as yours, and just for the record they do make very good/ stable tow cars!

Thanks for the reply, i have just towed my Coachman down to the storage and as soon as i plugged in the 7 pin plug the indicators audibly bleeped so one must have been fitted when the previous owner fitted the towbar.
Yes it is a very good tow car and i am well happy with its performance and would certainly recommend them as a tow vehicle to other members.
