Can anyone who has a 2012 Kia Sportage let me know the measurement from the centre of the wheel to the centre of the underside of the wheel arch as mine appears low.
Comments would be appreciated.

Hi Bill
Unfortunately the text of your post has failed to load to the message board. It's highly likely that the reason for this will be your choice of web browser. Contrary to popular belief most versions of Internet Explorer use older incomplete codes which do not automatically update and which do not comply with present day internet technology. Microsoft recognise the problem and have come up with a way to resolve this issue, Click Here for instructions on how to activate the Internet Explorer compatibility mode. Alternatively you might like to choose a more up to date web browser such as Mozilla Firefox

Hello Peter,
There are three dangers of trying to make a comparrison with other peoples cars:-
There will be some manufactures tollerance in the dimension you are questioning, so its unlikley that any two cars would be the exactly the same.
The car may be defective, worn or already have some items of load that will change the criteria being measured,
and secondly the person doing the measurement may not do it in the same way as you and thus not give you the information you are looking for.
Clearly this is an issue with which you have some considerable concern, If it is as noticable as you seem to think, then you must have deeper concerns about possible defective components, and that must have some implication towards the safety of the vehicle. I should have thought the obvious thing to do here would be to have the car checked by the Kia dealer, who should have access to the manufacturers specifications. They would also be best placed to tell you if there is anything to be concerned about.

Will try again, have enabled compatibility mode so here goes.
Peter, sorry it took so long to reply by the time I measured up I had forgotten where I saw the post, (looking on Kia forum, in vain for obvious reasons)
Measured my 2013 KX4, from top of tyre to highest part inside wheel arch is approx 170 mm. (rear wheel)
