The layout works for us, but the real drawback we found was the very narrow wardrobe and this is not mentioned in the article. We are not convinced by the large fridge though and carry only what we need for the next day or so.
The idea that the increasingly rare use of the layout may be a positive, as when we sold our last caravan with the L shaped front the dealer was quite positive. Basically when all caravans look the same inside one that is different is easier to sell and certainly I know he sold it fairly quickly.
