hi all. I,m also new to the van scene, I am 53 and last toured as a child with my parents during the 6os, it was an introduction to the countryside which has stayed with me ever since. Nothing much seems to have changed except that caravaners passing in the opposite direction dont seem to wave in acknowledgment anymore.
 
Nothing seems to have changed Barkas? I was caravanning as a teen in the late '70s - we still had the old foot activated water pump, gas mantle lights and various other acoutriments which raise a smile when I remember them. I'd say there have been many changes for the better but would agree I haven't experienced the old camararderie since I've been vanning for the second time around.
