does anyone know of a 4 berth with a fixed bed on the nearside with a maximum tow weight of 1300kg?

Ours! Well nearly - MTPLM comes in at just a little over 1300. It's a Swift Speedbird 490 - year 2000, with the door on the wrong side (ie on the left as you look at the front of the van), and the bed is on the right. We've only ever seen one other, which was when we were on holiday in France. It's a lovely van, and has served us well for almost nine years - and we are now looking to replace it, but everything we look at nowadays is much heavier - and we are at our 'comfortable' towing limit with the current van.

Well, that was interesting! Just had a look at the price they're asking 8,750 euros! May just have to put up a 'For Sale', 'A Vendre', 'Voor Verkoop' notice in the window when we take it on holiday in May!
