4 decent beds plus 1

Hi everybody,

Can we get some advice on a caravan that has 4 proper beds plus 1 for a smaller child.

Our 3 kids are aged 17,14 and 7, so ideally 4 singles and a pull down bunk,or 2 singles and a double and a pull down bunk ....etc.

Us parents have no interest in sleeping on 2ft wide beds!

May thanks to you in advance for your help and advice.

Have you looked at P.C Buyer's Guide- I would choose layout G

Fixed Double Bed / 2 seats at front and side dinette. Elddis Avante 626/ Sprite Quattro FB/ Eccles Amethyst/ Swift Challenger 625/

Bailey Ranger S6 620/6 and Lunar Quasar 626

Hope this helps. Good luck hope you find something suitable.

Same layout is available on Lunar Lexon 570, an eldiss (forget which one) and adria adora 612, except that these are all single axle vans. The lunar and eldiss are shorter than twin axles so the whole layout is more squeezed but the adria is long. Also the adria has a high MPTLM but a comparively low MIRO so as long as you don't use all your payload allowance you can use a slightly less hefty towcar.

Alternatively get the fixed bed layout that suits you, buy a decent awning with a bedroom annexe (or two) and stick the teens in there. By 17 mine were "not being seen dead in a caravan" and begged to get left at home.
