7pin to 13pin adapters

Hubby tows a trailer for work. It came with a 13 pin plug but he swapped it to a 7 pin plug. He's grumbling about having to change his van and trailer back to 13 pin plug ready for the caravan. (He grumbles about alot!) I've seen adaptors but not sure if they will run everything necessary.

When we changed our caravan the new one had the thirteen pin plug but the old one the twin plugs. Bought an adaptor at the dealer and used it for the next three years without problem and everything worked. We did go for a recognised make though as some of the cheaper ones do not look that good. The adaptor cost I think £28 so seemed reasonable value.

If you use the one plug you will lose the battery charging and the fridge but it should still work. I have never seen one, but according to the CC you can buy an adaptor plug which converts the single seven pin plug to a thirteen and saves the extra cable.
