90% DAMP

I Own a 4 year year old caravan got it from new,not with troubles.ie new charger.3 internal water leaks and 2 external water leaks.new table.new regulater.new water pump.heating system has packed up.had TWO front windows, and now after the 4th service i have been told that their is 90% damp at the rear end of the van,now what i think you need to keep to new vans to keep the warrantcy repairs. so now do i buy another new one or keep to the old second hand market..

Sorry to hear of the problems not a good reflection on the quality is it? I'd tend to get it repaired under warranty and hang on to it as although you've had other issues they will have been sorted and shouldn't reappear. As you are aware on this Forum new vans are still giving water ingress problems, some are reported having roof cracks. Although they will be sorted under warranty there will come a time when they come off warranty. Just look at the cost to change and then decide whether going new makes financial sense irrespective of having a newer van.

I think you will need to get it repaired under the warranty as otherwise it will be worthless. Once that is done it is really a matter of how you feel as to whether you replace it but if the work has been done well the caravan is probably a better proposition than a new one.
