We have a friend who is still driving and camping in her Bambi camper. She travels each year to France for a few weeks; down to below the Loire. Last year we managed to find insurance for 90 year olds via the CC, however, we now need to look again as she is making threatening noises about going over again!

We have changed her from Europ-non-Assist of the Really Awful Company to the AA, because they left her stranded in France for 19 days - and the lies, well they begger belief.

However, we now need travel and health cover, can anyone of the 'team' out there come up with suggestions please.

Dear Jason,

I obtained the insurance for our friend through Help the Aged, but they couldn't get her name correct, let alone her address. I got so browned off telephoning and writing that I said cancel it, send my money back and I then went to CC to see what they could do and - eureka one of their providers could help. I will be trying them again for her, but I wondered if anyone out there knew of any other companies.

Thanks Jason,

Margaret W

Try Royal Bank of Scotland. My mother has just obtained cover to enable her to go to America in May. She is 86 and has had cover from them for a few years now so that possibly helps her.
