I read the advert for KoJack hydraulic caravan jacking and notice this includes bolt on jacking points. I use a bottle jack and axle stands I got from Halfords, should I get some bolt on jacking points as I use the bottom of the chassis, if so where do I get them?

I have read that the axle stands should go under the axle tube.

The KoJack and Al-ko jacking brackets are meant to be used with their respective jacks, and are not suitable for use with a bottle jack.

The bottle jack should ONLY be used under the reinforced axle mounting plate, and NEVER directly under the chassis.

The KoJack and Al-ko jacks are the safest method to use if you are changing a wheel, but I bought one of the 12V. electric sissors jacks recently, which I just use for quarter turning the wheels on a monthly basis over the winter, use it under the axle mounting plate, and it's superb.

You can get the Alko jack brackets from Alko but the bottle jack would need modification to fit into the slot designed for the Alko jack

SPR004 - Replacement Jack Bracket Kit
