Just heard on our Local BBC News that eight (8) stolen caravans have been recovered by police at the Dorset Steam Fair.

All of us who live in the surrounding area know only too well that for these two weeks if it as not bolted to the floor whatever it is that has any value at all is likely to be nicked.

So a very well done to the boys in blue.

As for who nicks the stuff - well lets just say the Steam Fair attracts those that move arround a lot.

Clive; good stuff ! BTW what happened to your recent post about "that's what people think of us (carvanners)" (or words to that effect? ) the thread seems to have simply 'disappeared'?! Did the Moderator take exception to something?

I missed that one Clive, I am getting old because I cannot remember the thread, or was that the one with a simple "prove what you say or shutup" comment from me?

Good to see the police are on the ball, but did they recover any stolen vans from the show?

Yep - that was it Steve.

You have to realise that these poor sensitive souls that want to live in a world of their own making as opposed to the real world, cannot hack it if you ask them to justify what the say.

They just run arround in circles saying that they are being "picked on".

Mind you I did think the post was a little contenteous - after all - I do not suppose many on here want to hear what other road users think of us.

Best that we let them keep their heads in the sand.
