yonks ago someone on here said about a web site where you type in your car details and caravan details and it tells you the compatabilty rating and stuff can anyone remember it???

As Cris has pointed out there are sites that try to offer an outfit matching facility.
Whilst they can identify combinations that are definitely poor, they can't guarantee a good towing match. Please bear in mind that ultimately the quality of a match is not simply a comparison of weights and powers, the way and out is serviced, loaded and driven will have a significant effect and can turn what should be a good match into a dangerous one.
