I have lost power to my Whale pump on my Abbey 215 GTS. I have had a meter to the connectors in the plug and there is no power there. I have looked at the fuse box and can not see any blown fuses. Any ideas are welcome. I can manage for a little while with water for cooking, but need to get the shower going. I'm basically living in the van at the moment.

The Digits on your window that start SG***** the 10th digit relates to the age IE mines N therefore 1992
Check your fuses with a multimeter, as although they might look ok , they might be blown, the same with changing a fuse, the replacement might be duff.
It's 2001. What does that tell us about the fuse.
I think a squiral has managed to chew a little hole behind the fridge and may have caused damage there.

If you have the correct wiring diagram for the year you can find out which of the fuses relate to the water pump,check it's the right amperage and using your multi metre check it's not blown as suggested by hutch.Next check the colour code for the water pump,mines yellow(+) and white for (-).next check connection for water pump for a 12v feed .turn a tap on and check again,some caravans have micro switches other have a pressure regulator if so check if it's got power to it
Is the answer number 7 fuse? I am not an engineer by any standard beyond Level 1 City & Guilds in 1990
I am confused about your caravan, In your previous thread about water being lost through the non return valve, you posted pictures of the plumbing close to the Truma water heater. On the wall there is what appears to be an external pump connection with a purple and white wire connected.
In the wiring diagram Toad A Caravan has posted for both the 2001 and 2003 GTS's there is only an internal water pump shown. This suggests a previous owner may have reworked the system to use an external pump.
On the assumption the modification to to use an external pump simply used the original pump wiring, then +ve 12V dc should be supplied from fuse board (ESM-2000) on the Purple and Black wire to the microswitches in each tap. The output) from the micro switches should be "on" when the tap is open and "off" when the taps are closed. that should feed into the Purple and Yellow wire which goes into the the Pump master switch (KT9-GT)
The output from the pump master switch is on the Purple and Orange wire which should go to the water pump +ve terminal on the external wall connector. All th e 0V wires seem to be White and Orange.
The symptoms you are describing suggest the 12V fuse for the pump in the ESM-2000 may have blown, Or a wire has come loose somewhere. This would prevent 12V from reaching the pumps connection terminals.
If the fuse has blown, the question is why, You need to be aware the submersible pumps rely on the movement of cold water through them to keep them at normal operating temperatures. If for any reason such as the pump running dry or if the water flow has been stopped but the pump keeps running (Fault micro switch or a tap has not been fully turned off properly) the pump can overheat and destroy itself. Being out side it may not be heard.

Part of the procedure of removing a 3way fridge requires a safe working knowledge of LPG gained by experience and complying to all safety standards.Unless you have the required qualifications to undertake such work it should be done by someone that is,for your personal and others safety.Its not a task that a novice should undertake,its also good practice to have CO detector alarm fitted if your living in your caravan for the present.Hope this helps...Gary

I think you mean CO carbon monoxide detector not CO2.
Mark do you have an on off switch for your pump...mines over the fused switch for the water heater,it's a small rocker switch?
