A1 services

Hi everyone.
in a few weeks we will be going to Seahouses from leicester up the A1 with the caravan.. Can anyone recommend a couple of caravan friendly service stations for a for a break, one for fuel.

Wetherby Services about 100 miles from Leicester is a good one. You'll find six or seven dedicated caravan bays there.

We recently used the services on the A1 just short of Gateshead, You park in with the lorries but very few there so no problem. There is also a Greggs on the site if you want a cheaper snack.
