AA Car & Caravan cover

Having just changed my car (Vauxhall) the breakdown cover included in the Vauxhall package is via the AA.

Has anyone any experience of adding caravan cover to this type of scheme ?

If so what are the typical costs and how good is the cover for caravan plus car.

My previous car and caravan was covered by the Caravan Club's Mayday (Green flag) which was an excellent package. But it seems a shame not to take benefit of this free cover that comes with the car

Your best bet will be to ask the AA themselves. They have a freephone number, which according to their website is:

0800 085 2721

They'll even ring you back if they're busy.
 
All standard AA Memberships cover car and a trailer or caravan upto 26 Ft in length. as far as the caravan goes they will get you to a local rescue point/Servic station if on a motorway and arange for say a Tyre / Rim but you would be responsible for the bill & any call out charge for the third party.

Just had to check this out for our outfit prior to the easter break.
