Hi can anyone tell how the table and the bed parts are retained in the designated cupboard I have just purchased this and noticed that these need restraining back but gave nothing there to hold them back

From what I remember they were held back by a rather inadequate plastic strap affair, which has probably broken a long time ago.
You will need to make up a new restrainer, use webbing strap fixed at one side and with a press stud on the other.
