we are in the process of purchasing this caravan can anyone who actually has one give us there general opinion, we are new to caravans after to many wet camping holidays so decided to make the investment, all advice & help much appreciated, regards Terry & Maureen

terry and maureen, please do not pay the prise that is stated on the van. the last two vans i had i paid the price it stated on the window.

also remember if you buy a swift then you will have to have the van serviced and warrenty work done at the dealer you bought it from.
if you buy a bailey there are dealers and service centres all over the uk that are allowed to do servicing and warrenty work for bailey. so you wouldnt have to go back to the dealer.
make sure you check out your servicing prices for next year while your there.

Ask to see all the papers, manufacturing check lists on the electrics for example . This will establish the actual construction date. Ask the dealer how long he's had it.
Jo-anne's dead right. Barter hard if this is the caravan you want and don't forget to ask for all the extras, eg aquaroll, wastemaster etc foc or at the very least heavily discounted.

wow what a quick response and all valid, thankyou....the van is new, buying from Lowdham caravans Nottingham having good recommendations through this site, checked on the servicing and estimated
hiya, when i got my first van i got an aquaroll, wastemaster, battery because they dont come with them. try and get them to throw a few freebies in or free first service.
