abbey gts 212 1990 hook up

hi i just bought an abbey gts 212 year 1990 and i was wondering where when i hook up into the van , the cable goes.

the hook up is where the battery is on the side but there doesnt appear to be a slot or anything for the cable wire to comme out when the little door is shut. so at the moment the door would have to stay unlocked and coming through the bottom of the door.

Look for a small, 10-15mm, cut-out on the lower edge of the compartment door but not between the hinges. Positioning the cable at this cut-out will allow the door to be shut and locked.
