Abbey - wiring for radio

Anyone know where I can find details of the wiring for my Abbey Avent 315? There isn't anything in the manual or on their online manuals?

I've recently bought the van and it's got heaps of wiring all set up for a radio but it doesn't seem to match the back of my radio. I've been to the dealer, Maplins and Halfords but I'm still no further forward.

Hi Trisha,

The wiring diagram for the 315 is in your service booklet(the thin one)the wiring is basically, orange and white is the earth and the other wire is live, they are fed from the auxilliary switch in the cupboard. This caravan was not originally wired for a radio, speaker wise, but the feed and earth can be found in the RH front corner, you may have to take out the small panel for access hope this helps,Denis.

Thanks Denis. I'll have a look.

There are loads of wires, some connected to two different junction boxes (which I can see will go in the back of the radio) but there is also one with 5 cables to a small round pin which, according to my dealer I need to buy an adapter for but according to Halfords, are really old (can is 2003 model)and need 'cutting off' and rewiring to another junction box, which they kindly gave me, but I'm still at a lose as to how to rewire so I thought if I could find a diagram it might help shed light on what each cable is for.

I'll look at the service book and see if it helps. Cheers.
