Hi there.ive a long winded question.
I bought a secondhand abi marauder 450ct two years ago. I didnt have a clue about anything other than to check it wasnt damp and in good nick etc.I did not know about vin or anything like that. Novice mistake possibly. it wasnt till recently after i bought a second one(bailey pageant vendee) that i started to realise what it was.
So now i have the abi for sale and the guy buying it wants to know the vin and when i went to get it the numbers have been rubbed off the windows. This got me worried but they could have been replacement windows(im hoping). The a frame under the fibreglass cover has loads of digits on it but a lot of them are worn off. Ive checked around the door and all the a frame for more numbers but cant find anything.
My question. Is there any hidden numbers that would be hard to be gotten rid of. Im aware of the consequences if i have bought something that might have been stolen in the past. Theres no books or anything with it. novice mistake again. any help would be much appreciated.
