The ACSI Card website (www.campingcard.co.uk) has been updated and 2012 sites are now available. There are many more sites in some countries - now 884 in France - in three bands, 12, 14 and 16 euros (the website does show some 10 euro sites, but perhaps this is a mistake???). This price includes a pitch for two adults, car and caravan (or tent or motorhome), awning and electricity.

To benefit from these prices, which are limited by each site's 'low season' dates, you need to buy the ACSI books and card, available from ACSI or in this country from Vicarious Books http://acsi-camping-...us-books.co.uk/. It will cost £12.50 from Vicarious Books, and comes with an ACSI Club Card which can be used in the same was as the CCI (Camping Card International).

On the 2012 ACSI Camping Card site if you go to a Country and then an Area and look at the list of sites there is a symbol iD against some which tells you they take their new card equivilent to the Caravan Insternational Card. Not all the sites accept it by the looks of it.

Hi Val, looking at the ACSI card for next year, checked out Germany and understand the pricing. I looked at Netherlands around eindhoven and there are no prices for the acsi cards, only indicitive prices (which seem to be the campsite price). how do you know what ACSI price you pay??

Dont find thir website as friendly as camping cheques

Where are you looking Kev. I have just checked the site www.campingcard.co.uk looked under Netherlands and then North Brabant the area where Eindhoven is and all the sites have the price for ACSI Card on them. On the right hand side on the list and on the left hand side of site if you click more info. I find it all clear and very easy to find a site.

You're obviously using the ACSI website main page, rather than the Camping Card page - link here: ACSI Card website page. If you click on the Camping Card page, then click the map (Netherlands) then the area (North Brabant) then a list of sites will be shown below the map (28 sites) and in the top right corner of each brief site detail is the price band (12, 14 or 16 euros) for each site. Clicking on the 'More information............' bar will give more details of the site, including details when the site accepts the ACSI card.
When you're looking at the ACSI main page then instead of the 28 ACSI Card sites you'll get a list of 101 sites - these are all the sites INSPECTED by ACSI but not all inspected sites accept the ACSI card - and these do show an 'indicative price'.
