Additional Door lock

Is it worth fitting one on my Caravan "stable door" I have been looking at Fiamma Safe Door Frame Security Lock but the doors on a caravan are that flimsy it would probabily cause more damage if the door was prised open.

Derek, fit an additional lock on your door if you like but............... what about the windows, they are less secure than the door is now, being held shut by 3 to 4 plastic arms, alot easyer to prise open than a door. Id save your money, but thats just my opinion

I agree with Trucker. I lost the keys to the caravan on board a ferry once and didn't realise until a lot later when I was halfway through France, so I had to break in. It was so easy to get into the caravan through a window, even without breaking or damaging anything. (Thankfully, the keys were later found by the staff and sent on to me by post)

Thanks for your replies youve just backed up what I was thinking....however how about roller shutters for the windows? 🙂
