Tar and glue remover available from good car shops eg halfords etc spray on leave then rub off with a clean cloth (not a good one though as you'll bin it when done).

Of oll yhe vans i have bought evey one if them has had a sold sign stuck on the front window with tape, and always left a line of glue when removed . Why dont the dealers use their brains and stop using tape that leaves residue, or is this tooooo much to ask.!!!

Be extremely careful what solvent you use to clean these Acrylic windows with as even brief contact can cause the area to develop micro cracking some year or so down line.

I had this where a stick on dealers label had once been applied; something in the adhesive, or the label's plasticiser had attacked the acrylic window long after I had removed the sticker.

I have found this link to the problem in aircraft acrylic windows where its definitive warning of cleaning products containing ammonia: -

I have used white spirit to remove "goo" without issues but I did make sure I had washed all traces away immediately afterwards.
